Existen 6 tipos de uñas diferentes: oval, cuadrada-oval, cuadrada, en forma de almendra, en forma de pico de montaña y redonda.
La redonda y la oval difieren poco en realidad. Sólo se trata de limar más o menos los lados de las uñas.
Os enseñaré como crear las cuadradas, las cuadradas- oval y las de forma de almendra y la de pico de montaña por que las otras varían muy poco y son las que normalmente, se tienen.
1- Cuadradas:
Partiendo de una en forma redonda, coloca la lima de forma horizontal y paralela al borde de la uña. Lima hasta la longitud deseada y ya está.
2- Cuadrada-oval: es el mismo procedimiento: colocamos la lima horizontal y paralela al borde superior de la uña y limamos hasta la longitud deseada. una vez tenemos la forma que queremos, limaremos los bordes para que no queden tan puntiagudos.
Para limar los bordes y obtener la forma que queremos, pondremos la lima inclinada unos 45º y limamos. Repetimos en el otro extremo y ya tenemos la forma.
3- Forma de almendra: Para esta, podemos ayudarnos pintando una forma de V en la punta de la uña. limamos y rebajamos un poco el pico de la uña y listo.
4- Pico de montaña: es el mismo procedimiento que la de almendra pero sin rebajar el pico que
formamos.

There are 6 types of nail shapes: oval, squoval or squarely rounded, rounded, square, almond and mountain peak.
Rounded and oval are very similar and they are ones of the most common shapes.
1- Square: place the file horizontally and file the nail up to the lenth you want.
2-Squoval or squarely rounded: is the same process as the square shape but you have to file the edges a little bit, so, to file the edges and smooth them, you have to put the file in 45º angle and file the edge, and that´s it!
3- Almond shape: from a rounded or square shape, we have to paint a V with white polish and then file the nail in the same angle as the V. Smooth the edge.
4- Mountain peak shape: is the same as almond shape but you don't have to smooth the edge.
